Advanced Association Management is a trade association management firm based in Milford, Nebraska. AAM fulfills the executive director role for small to mid-size associations by offering our clients a cost and staff-sharing model. A large part of our duties includes conferences, trade shows, and event planning for events such as Nebraska Fire School, Nebraska Arborists School, the Caribbean Cable Telecommunications trade show, the Mid-America Cable Show, the TOAST Nebraska Wine Festival, and many more. Other job responsibilities include membership drives, database management, board governance and facilitation, and marketing.

  • Advanced Association Management is currently hiring for a Marketing Coordinator position. (Full-time or Part-Time, 8-5 pm, M-F.) Experience in marketing, graphic design, and social media management with demonstrated organizational and oral/written communication skills is required. Microsoft OS knowledge required; Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. The AAM office is located in Milford – 15 miles west of Lincoln, Nebraska.

    This position assists the Director of Marketing in developing and executing multiple marketing campaigns and strategies for assigned trade and non-profit associations.

    Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

    • Develop marketing efforts across all platforms and mediums, including social media, print and digital media, and special events

    • Maintenance and editing of association websites on WordPress and Squarespace platforms

    • Social media content creation, strategy, and planning

    • Strategize with Director on effective campaign models and ideas to achieve specific goals

    • Email content support and scheduling in Mailchimp

    • Compile and organize marketing analytics and statistics for Director

    • Ability to provide association coordinator support as needed during peak periods

    • The candidate must be organized and detail-oriented, able to manage projects, deadlines, and priorities for multiple clients, and work independently and effectively with a team of staff and volunteers.

    Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business or Communications or equivalent work experience

    • 1-3 years of success in a marketing role

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

    • Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva experience preferred.

    • Squarespace and/or WordPress editing experience preferred.

    • Outstanding attention to detail and quality

    • Superior written and oral communication skills

    • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks and to work well under pressure

Experience in event management, strong interpersonal relations skills, demonstrated organizational skills, and oral/written communication skills are preferred. Microsoft OS knowledge required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. The AAM office is located in Milford – 15 miles west of Lincoln, Nebraska.

    This position assists the Account Executive in planning and managing multiple conferences and educational events for assigned trade and non-profit associations.

    Account Coordinator Responsibilities:

    • Association member services and membership drives; initiation and oversight of membership campaign through the online client software

    • Assisting with board meetings.

    • Event coordination, management, and support

    • Posting website and social media content and email support

    The Account Executive will work directly with the Senior Account Executives to meet the needs of 3-4 non-profit accounts. The candidate will assist with managing and overseeing all programs, including multiple conferences and educational events, for regional, statewide and local trade and non-profit associations.

    Account Executive Responsibilities:

    • Project Manager for 3-4 non-profit accounts and will ensure each milestone in the timeline is successfully met

    • Board leadership support and liaison with the board chair, executive committee, and board, including production of board agenda, support materials, and board meeting minutes.

    • Budgeting and oversight of financials

    • Planning and executing annual conferences and/or trade shows, including site selection, speaker selection, budgeting, and marketing

    • Oversight of membership campaign and retention oversight

    • Liaison with other industry trade associations and representation at national meetings

    • Preparation of newsletters, articles, memos, and other communications to membership

    • Proactively establishes and maintains a highly organized filing system; files correspondence and other records

    • Provides superior client service by being attentive and responsive to clients’ requests

    • Anticipates problems and proactively manages the details

    Account Executive Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

    • 3-5 years of success in account executive/customer-client service experience recommended

    • Highly proficient in the use of Outlook to manage email and multiple calendars

    • Keen analytic skills and demonstrated resourcefulness in problem-solving
